For Windows, Mac and Chromebook
Make the computer easier to see, hear and use.
Bigger words. Captions for talk and video. Keys that wait for a shaky hand. The settings are already on the computer. Ease Card finds the right ones and prints a large card to keep beside it, so nobody has to remember where they were.
Which computer is it?
Not sure? How to tell which computer you have.
What has become hard?
Pick one or more on the planner. Each opens the settings that help, on that computer.
- Words and pictures look too small
- The screen is faint, glary or hard on the eyes
- The pointer or typing cursor gets lost
- Videos, calls and alert sounds are hard to hear
- Pressing keys is hard (two at once, keys repeat)
- Clicking, double-clicking or dragging is hard
- Reading long text is tiring
- Talking would be easier than typing
- Too much moving, flashing and popping up
What you take away
A card for the person. A sheet for the helper.
- The Ease Card
- Large print, one setting per line: its name, the shortcut, and how to turn it off again. Tape it beside the screen.
- The Helper sheet
- Every step, what each setting changes, the undo, and the maker's own help page for it. For whoever sets it up.
- The Card Book
- A private link that keeps the cards for a household: Mom's laptop, Dad's desktop, the kitchen Chromebook. Tick each setting when it is done.

Pick the computer
Windows 11, a Mac or a Chromebook. Each has its own settings and its own words for them.

Say what is hard
Small text, faint screen, lost pointer, hard to hear, hard to type or click, tiring to read, too much motion.
- 3
Tick and print
The first settings to try are ticked for you. Change the ticks, name the card, print it large.

Written from the makers' own help pages
Each of the 64 settings names the page it came from, checked on October 14, 2026. Menus move between versions, so every card also says how to search Settings for the name.
- 9 pages from Microsoft Support
- 18 pages from Apple Mac User Guide
- 9 pages from Google Chromebook Help
Good questions
Will this change anything on my computer?
No. Ease Card is a web page that tells you where settings are. It installs nothing, connects to nothing and cannot reach your computer. You or your helper switch each setting on, and every card says how to switch it off.
Is this from Microsoft, Apple or Google?
No. Ease Card is independent. It points to their published help pages so you can check every step yourself.
What if my menus look different?
Menus move between versions. If a path does not match, open Settings and type the setting's name in the search box: every card says how.
Can someone set it up for me?
Ease Card does not offer a set-up service. The Helper sheet is written so a family member, friend or volunteer can do it in one visit.
Do I need an account?
No. Cards print without saving anything. A Card Book is a private link: keep it like a key, because anyone with the link can open it.
